Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress best known as Missandei in HBO's massive adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born and lived in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's resort for sea lovers She has always been interested in performing. Her mother was impressed and started enrolling her in dance, sing as well as acting classes when she was just 3 years old. Emmanuel was a highly skilled actress and singer. She was cast as an infant Nala by The West End in the film "The Lion King" in the mid 1990s. Emmanuel auditioned for roles in the film industry and on television while she was still a teenager. Her first major breakthrough in 2007, when she was cast as Sasha Valentine on the British soap-opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4, 1995- ). Emmanuel performed the part for four seasons before leaving the series in 2010. Emmanuel received her biggest breakthrough on HBO "Game of Thrones" after three years, in the role of Missandei. The role of Missandei will be the voice of Daenerys' Targaryen persona (portrayed by Emilia Clarke).
