The 16th of September, 1958, Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard conditions. Her mother, who was a failing teacher and actor, was a salesperson for automobiles, while her father worked as an automobile salesman. Jennifer, the second-oldest of her siblings attended many theater shows with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's parents split after she turned five. Jennifer was brought up in British Columbia by her mother who moved there with her four siblings. Jennifer never was a artist although she was a talented artist as a kid. In Canadian schools, her experiences resulted in her becoming often the target of bullying. When she was in high school, her love for theater started to diminish. In order to combat this, her mom helped to take part as an extra in various plays. Her mom inspired her to inspire all the kids in her family to have a passion and interest in the arts. Her immediate response was to take actions.
